Rhapsody in Violet is my violet oud perfume — a violet perfume at heart, where the oud supports rather than leads. Some ouds carry smoky, barnyard facets that would have trampled the shy, crystallised violet at the centre of this composition, so I built a clean, modern oud accord that lends shadow and depth while letting the flower sing. Every bottle is a niche perfume hand made in small batches in the UK.
