Design Philosophy
My own tastes on incense run in the church direction, but never as a standout note. So Magdalene went sacred feminine: white florals of white rose, tuberose, and jasmine, with a thin thread of incense and nard, on a bed of white musks. She is built around genuine white rose absolute, a quiet, ‘pure’ smelling rose, intimate and bridal, and the incenses are wound around a hint of real vanilla absolute for a little balsamic sweetness.
Unlike Rhapsody, she doesn't announce herself. Every attempt to make her louder and more present led me back to the third trial, where she spoke in suggestion and whisper.
